Dr. Deborah Van Den Hoonaard

eborah K. van den Hoonaard is a professor in the Gerontology Department and Canada Research Chair in Qualitative Research and Analysis at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is author of By Himself, The Older Man’s Experience of Widowhood, published by University of Toronto Press (2010), The Widowed Self: The Older Woman's Journey Through Widowhood, published in 2001 by Wilfrid Laurier University Press and Qualitative Research in Action: A Canadian Primer in press with Oxford University Press.
