Dr. Sara Urowitz

r. Sara Urowitz is an Associate Scientist and Manager of Educational Informatics in the Education and Breast Cancer Survivorship Programs at Princess Margaret Hospital and is the Professional Lead on the Caring Voices Project. Currently, Sara is engaged in research that explores the use of emerging information and communication technologies as a means for educating and empowering survivors to become activated participants in their own health care experience. Sara is a graduated from the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto, where she studied health policy and bioethics. She is also a social worker with a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and has a Masters of Arts in Applied Ethics/Biomedical Ethics from the University of Virginia.
