This is an excellent summary of the mind/body connection in the development of health and disease. As a psychotherapist, the task in wholistic care is to assist clients in the ownership of their patterns or processes, bypassing the defenses common in our culture of "blame", the perfectionistic patterns of our times, and assisting them with the tasks of unlearning these processes. EMDR, and other "whole brain" approaches are excellent therapies for addressing these issues!
