Dr. Tomislav Svoboda

T omislav Svoboda is a family physician at St. Michael's Hospital, Clinical Director of the Seaton House Family Health Team and an Associate Scientist at the Centre for Research on Inner City Health at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr.Svoboda completed his PhD in epidemiology at the University of Toronto in 2006. His thesis is entitled 'Measuring the "Reduction" in Harm Reduction: Evaluating the Annex Harm Reduction Program for High Risk Homeless Alcohol Dependent Men'.
In 2005 he founded the Client Access to Integrated Services and Information (CAISI) Project, a community based team of agencies and clients integrating care to help end chronic homelessness through the development of community capacity and IT infrastructure that included development and use of an integrated open source multi-agency EMR, bed and case management system.
