He is a former medical columnist for The Vancouver Sun and The Globe and Mail Steve Lurie is currently the Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto Branch, a post he has held since 1979. Steve has written and lectured extensively on mental health policy issues
Kathryn Storey is s registered nurse with an additional undergraduate degree in Psychology and more recently she is concentrating on her doctoral studies at the University of Western Ontario, in the Faculty of Education, with studies in the area of recovery education for survivors and allies Michelle Fine, Distinguished Professor of Social Psychology, Women’s Studies and Urban Education at the Graduate Center, CUNY, has taught at CUNY since 1992 and is a founding member of the Institute for Participatory Action Research and Design (formerly the Participatory Action Research Collective) at the Graduate Center at the City University of New York Jessica Ruglis holds a PhD in Urban Education from the Graduate Center of The City University of New York. A former teacher, she also earned a Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Urban Public Health/Community Health Education from Hunter College, a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Secondary Science Education from Union College, and Bachelors of Science (BS) in Human Biology from University at Albany Dr. John Roder is a neurobiologist and Senior Investigator at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute. He is a Professor in the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics at the University of Toronto, and a Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Neurobiology Louise Rowling has established over a 30 year period a National and International reputation for work on school health particularly drug and alcohol education, loss and grief, health promoting schools, and mental health and wellbeing Nicholas Freudenberg is Distinguished Professor of Public Health at Hunter College and the Graduate Center of City University of New York and Director of the City University of New York’s Doctoral Program in Public Health Christine Jonas-Simpson is an Assistant Professor, Faculty of Health, School of Nursing at York University and is an Adjunct Researcher with the Women’s College Research Institute
Dr. Howard Schubiner is a Clinical Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine and is a fellow in the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Society for Adolescent Medicine Dr. John Oliffe is Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, University of British Columbia. His research is focused on gender and health, particularly men’s health Corey Keyes is associate professor of Sociology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion, where he is a core member of the Pursuit of Happiness 5-year project funded by the $1.5 million grant from the Templeton Foundation Dr. Bianca Lauria-Horner joined the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University in 1999 where she currently holds an academic position as an assistant professor. She also holds a position with the RCMP since 2004 as the Atlantic Region Health Services Officer with a mandate to manage the Occupational Health and Safety Program Judith A. Swack, Ph.D., scientist, teacher, healer and visionary, has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and postdoctoral training in human immunology. She is a Master Practitioner of NLP, a Certified Hypnotherapist, and trained in TFT/DX Yuliya Cohen is a trained energy healer, medical intuitive and Energy Psychology therapist and researcher. Formerly an engineer and computer science researcher, for the last 25 years, she has applied the scientific method to her bioenergetic field research Wayne Skinner is the Deputy Clinical Director in the Addictions Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)
