Prof. Marie-Claude Prémont

M arie-Claude Prémont is currently professor of law at l' ENAP , the public administration university. Until recently, Prof. Prémont was Professor of law and Associate Dean at the Faculty of Law of McGill University. She currently continues to lecture at McGill on the topic of Women's Issues.
Marie-Claude Prémont is interested in contemporary social issues related to healthcare reforms and metropolitan and urban areas governance through municipal law and local taxation. Historical development and current debates on those issues, in Québec and elsewhere, are core to her research agenda. Both private law and public law are relevant in the analysis of the transformation of the role of the State in those fields, as well as in civil liability, workers' compensation schemes and data protection concerns.
