Kate Pengelly

ate Pengelly, B.A., M.Sc., is Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Performance Implementation lead for the Emergency Department Process Improvement Program. She has worked in health care for 7 years, and has a background in hospital service management and process improvement work in the UK’s National Health Service. In the UK, she worked on the national 18-week wait times program, leading work in out-patient departments, cancer care, emergency care and diagnostics. Sponsored by the UK’s Department of Health, Kate has a Masters in Health Care Management from the University of Birmingham, and is part of the UK King’s Fund Emerging Leaders network, which aims to share best practice across international networks of health care managers
