C aroline O'Grady', RN, PhD is an Advanced Practice Nurse and Clinical Project Scientist in the Concurrent Disorders Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Since 2001, Caroline has been the lead investigator of the first Canadian program of research focusing on family members affected by co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She is evaluating the Ontario-Wide family concurrent disorders community of practice initiative and is the Principal Investigator of a new research study piloting an internet-delivered family concurrent disorders support / educational group. Caroline co-authored, with Wayne Skinner, the recently published, “A Family Guide to Concurrent Disorders” and is the Executive Editor and one of many authors of a new book in progress focusing on nursing research in the areas of mental health and addiction. Caroline is also a professor and an associate member of the University of Toronto Graduate Department of Nursing Science.
