M argaret Moy Lum-Kwong, BScN, MBA, CHE - Margaret’s experience has spanned a broad range of sectors including hospitals, government and a healthcare non-government organization. Her career has focused on improving the delivery and effectiveness of healthcare – from the establishment of a Neurology program at a hospital, to the facilitation of hospital restructuring that meets a region’s needs, to the development of Ontario’s first-ever web-based public reporting on long-term care homes. Currently, Margaret is the Director of the High Blood Pressure Strategy at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. This strategy focuses on high blood pressure, a prevalent chronic condition and one of the most controllable risk factors for heart attacks and strokes. The vision of this strategy is to pave the way towards optimal blood pressure management that will result in a dramatic improvement in the future health of Canadians.
