ynn Moore is the Director, Public Affairs at The Arthritis Society, Canada's only charity devoted solely to funding and promoting arthritis research, programs and patient care for the 4.5 million Canadians of all ages living with arthritis. Her responsibilities include stakeholder relations, government relations, public policy, advocacy, and national leadership for The Society’s programs and services. Prior to joining The Arthritis Society she was the Director of Public Policy and Government Relations at The Alzheimer Society of Ontario, where she was responsible for leading the implementation of Ontario’s Alzheimer Strategy and served as the Acting Executive Director. Ms Moore has held a range of positions including Senior Policy Analyst, Chronic/Long-term Care, Mental Health and Rehabilitation at the Ontario Hospital Association; Director Home Support Services at the Canadian Red Cross Society – Ontario Zone; Assistant Executive Director Paramedical Services, The Riverdale Hospital; and consulted to Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Lynn is an Adjunct Professor in University of Toronto’s Health Policy, Management and Evaluation Program where she tutors students in the graduate level Canadian Health System and Health Policy courses. Ms Moore has volunteered on a number of not-for-profit boards primarily in the areas of geriatrics, mental health and substance abuse. She has a Masters of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Health Executive.
