Dr. Faye Mishna

aye Mishna, PhD, RSW is an Associate Professor and the Associate Dean of Research, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto.  She holds the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Chair in Child and Family, and has cross appointments with the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto and with the Department of Social Work, Hospital for Sick Children.  Prior to joining the Faculty, she was Clinical Director of Integra a children’s agency in Toronto serving children with learning disabilities.  Faye’s program of research involves bullying (traditional and cyber), cyber abuse, cyber counseling/interventions and school-based psychotherapy with children who are at risk.  In conducting her research, Faye collaborates with community resources and organizations.  Faye maintains a small private practice in psychotherapy and consultation.
