Aynsley Moorhouse holds an MFA in Performance from The Actors Studio at The New School in New York City and an MA from the Graduate Centre for Study of Drama at the University of Toronto. She works as a dramaturge, actor, writer, and sound artist and her work has been showcased in New York, Winnipeg, and Toronto. Recent credits:

Reframing the Theatrical Event: Vaclav Havel’s The Beggar’s Opera,” was published in the Summer 2010 Transverse Journal and she was awarded a grant from the Czech Consolate to travel to the Czech Republic to study the language in August 2010. Her current research interests are on Aging, Old Age, and Memory Loss, and she will be conducting further interviews in order to record the stories and experiences of those who live with dementia. By doing so, she hopes to create and to celebrate a necessary alternative to an oral history - an oral experience.
