Teena Evert MA, CSIP, RMT, RYT, NCTMB is a somatic psychotherapist with an advanced degree in clinical and prenatal and perinatal psychologyTeena K. Evert, M.A. is a somatic psychotherapist with an advanced degree in clinical and prenatal and perinatal psychology.

She specializes in women’s mental health issues and the treatment of trauma, attachment, and developmental issues including conscious conception, prenatal and postpartum adjustment, perinatal mood disorders, and birth trauma. She especially enjoys helping expectant parents and young families learn to support wholeness, human potential, and optimal relationships and to mitigate and heal stress and trauma during this primary period.

Teena also provides a holistic and integrative approach in the treatment of mind-body syndromes, which are often experienced as both physical and emotional pain. Her unique approach allows not only for symptom reduction and stabilization, but the cultivation of a natural state of inner peace and a great sense of resonance with one’s life purposes and goals.

Teena is also trained in Self Regulation Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a Certified Structural Integration Practitioner, Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Movement and Bodywork.

She combines her comprehensive training, clinical skills and personal experiences to help her clients find balance in body, mind and spirit and is tirelessly passionate about inspiring, educating and motivating each individual in her care to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.
