ur group received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Ethics Seed Grant competition to conduct a qualitative pilot study aimed at explicating the types of experiences that health care aides identify as being ethically problematic in the care of dying seniors in a personal care home setting.

The following Powerpoint presentation narrated by the Principal Investigator for the project provides information on: i) the aims and goals of the study; ii) the research questions driving the study; iii) the research design and methods used to accomplish the study aims; iv) the findings of the study; and iv) the implications of the findings for practice and future empirical work in this area.
