Dr. Simon Davis

imon Davis has been a sessional lecturer at the SSWFS since 1998, teaching courses in mental health, research methods, and social work and the law. He holds an MSW from UBC and a Ph.D. from the Simon Fraser University of Criminology. He works with Vancouver Coastal Health as a mental health team director, and is currently invovled in an initiative that employs psychiatric consumers as partners in action research projects. His clinical and research interests are in the area of ethics and the law, and in 2006 he published the text Community Mental Health in Canada with UBC Press.
