L aurie Barnhardt PHCNP, CON(C) masters candidate Laurie Barnhardt is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with the Upper Grand Family Health Team in Fergus Ontario. Laurie is currently completing her masters in nursing at the University of Western Ontario. She received her degree as a Nurse Practitioner at McMaster University and she has obtained her Canadian Oncology Nurse Certification.
Laurie’s background in nursing includes oncology and community visiting. Her main position is as a primary care nurse practitioner. She has a keen interest in palliative care and chronic pain management and works together with an interprofessional team at the Upper Grand FHT in the development of community programs.
